I think Marsupialized realizes it was a dumb thing to do. He made this clear from the outset.

But he did it, and the incident has indeed captured our imaginations, so evidently it was worthy of a thread.

Conversation. If we were all sitting at a bar I'd say 'I punched some dude in traffic this morning' and we'd all talk about it. Some people would say 'cool' and some would say 'that was stupid' I would say 'I know' then we would joke and laugh about it.
