I've always loved Tom Verlaine's "Kingdom Come," much better than Bowie's version.

I'd hesitate to call it better, but I really like the 13th Floor Elevators' version of "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue."

Have you ever heard Sleep Chamber's version of this song? I think it's even better.
I haven't, but I'll check it out. Thanks.

I´m the only one in this, but i really prefer Low´s version of 'last night i dreamed that somebody loved me' than the original.

WRONG!
I hate to tell a man what he thinks, but you don't really believe this.
I had to let you know.
Sorry to barge in and all.
McGeoch man! Reeeeaaallly.

No, sorry Alex. I
do believe it. Ministry's not always about headache inducing metal, Al Jourgensen sings well on this track. Paul Barker on bass is excellent.
No, no.
Really, sorry to be diggin' around in your brain and stuff, but when I was in there I noticed that you really do like the Magazine version more.
FYI and all that.
McGeoch man! Seriously.

What, the cover versions of old blues songs that Zep tarted up are better than the originals?
You don't get a pass on this just because you also picked a song that Rapeman covered.

Alex M, I've gotta say I think Jimmy Scott's version of "Jealous Guy" trumps Ferry's and Lennon's. It's really something.
I will be sad when that man passes from this Earth. I understand he is quite the drinker. People tell me, if he's playing two sets, go to the early one....

I'm comparing them now. Yes, Ministry's version is better. Better sounding, hefty drums, more up front bass, the vocals, the guitar is more pronounced.
Howard Devoto ain't got nothing on Jourgensen on this one,
even if he did write the song.
