Keep on keepin' on.

That is as good as news as can be hoped for given - Hopefully your treatment isn't an ass kicker but man, that's a reliefGramsci wrote: Fri Nov 03, 2023 10:34 am Sorry for bombarding this thread but it’s my only non immediate family vent.
Full genetic and PET testing results in.
Lowest risk type, no bone damage, minimal plasma mutation… to the point where the clinical team debated whether I need immediate treatment or not. They are going to start straight away but it will be incremental and tailored to my low incidence of disease.
It’s still bad news, but as positive as it’s possible within that framework.
Fuck. I feel like I can breathe again
Oh man. Sympathies and best wishes for your treatment, and for this side effect to be brief.Gramsci wrote: Sat Dec 02, 2023 4:14 pm Three weeks into a relatively light chemo treatment and I’ve lost my sense of taste. My only side effect yet oddly absolutely horrendous. Everything tastes like discount store ketchup.
Since I have “no disease” and am being treated as a preventative measure this is mentally harder to deal with than the actual non illness at the moment.
So, yeah fuck cancer.
That happened initially to my spouse and SHOULD pass in a week or so, sorryGramsci wrote: Sat Dec 02, 2023 4:14 pm Three weeks into a relatively light chemo treatment and I’ve lost my sense of taste. My only side effect yet oddly absolutely horrendous. Everything tastes like discount store ketchup.
