FWIW I use a heavy duty foam double stick tape like this*. It's strong, thick, and removable if needed. I've used this method on over 1000 pedals and found it to be plenty fine.

* only exception being things with BIG circuit boards...then its screws and standoffs time.

Those Sola sound brackets are beautiful, I know I've seen them before so I probably unconsciously cribbed from them. I used to use the white 3m foam tape and it would work most of the time, but I had a couple issues with boards coming loose in pedals using this method at shows that made me want to figure something else out. If anyone else wants the .STL file I can share it, right now I just have one drawn for 125B's but I'll be working on a 1590B and 1590BB at some point.

I managed to go from breadboard to schematic to stripboard without fucking anything up, and the build was relatively trouble free. When I first boxed it up there was a high pitched whine happening and the whole box was microphonic, but shortening a few of the leads and swapping the input wire with coaxial fixed that up quite nicely. It's a spaghetti mess on the inside most due to trying to get it all into a 1590BB and the back and forth of wires for the channel switching. That said, it was a nice easy build and it sounds great imo.
