Numero just put out a new compilation I haven't even skimmed yet. But it's got the track "Let's Ride" by Junei', which you should hear if you haven't already:



Track is almost like if you were to cross electro-funk with video game music. But that's not a drawback.

My favorite song on it - perhaps my favorite Chaka song ever - is the beautiful mid-tempo "Papillon (Hot Butterfly)." This is that old school butter where you put on the bell-bottoms and do The Bump dance with your sweetie. Love the jazz-informed turnaround in the chorus + summer vibes. Backing vocals provided by Luther Vandross, Cissy and Whitney Houston.
