OUT OF PRINT

Download in two parts:
Part 1
Part 2

So it is Friday night on Planet Earth and I'm several hours from enjoying my first day off in a very long time. So what am I still doing uploading this file? Well, it must be pretty darn good one, kids.

To the tavern.

It's Dylan at his musical peak, absolutely. The only shame is that Blood on the Tracks is not in the sonic vein of his golden '60s period...fortunately, Blood on the Tapes captures the Dylan of old rolled into the Dylan of early to mid-thirties maturity...that's what makes this bootleg so special. The officially released version is beautiful too...but it is a Dylan captured in his time and place...the bootleg version is timeless.

When his vocals rise, you really get a sense of the space in the room. The sparse bass accompaniment is perfectly appropriate as well. It's too bad that "Simple Twist of Fate" and "Buckets of Rain" do not seem to exist in a BOTT context...but 8 outta 10 ain't bad.

The pain in these recordings is palpable...Dylan seems to be playing less of a "part" during this period than at any other point in his career...Blood on the Tapes is perhaps the closest the listener ever gets to the "real" Bob...of course...with Dylan, it's nearly impossible to tell...

Right on. Ill second all of that.

This is the one Gorge Trio album I have. You wouldn't happen to have that 'Italy-only' release the Skin Graft guys put out many moons ago, would you? I've been looking for that one forever.

Clinic - "Welcome"

You see your sun is gentle, see the Sunday clothes
And push the new beginnings but beginning to unfold
Best of all the summers warm see our lady in her shawl
Come and come forever could you go go go for more
Oh,now your welcome with us
Now your welcome with us more
No,now your welcome with us more
And who could you disintegrate for?
And see us in the kitchen, and see us on the floor
And push the new beginnings ba ba banging at your door
Best of all the summers warm see our lady in her shawl
Come and come forever could you go go go for more
Oh,Now your welcome with us
Now your welcome with us more
No,now your welcome with us more
And who could you disintegrate for?
Get it all in the open, get it out of your cloak
And push the new beginnings but beginning to unfold
Best of all the summers warm see our lady in her shawl
Come and come forever could you go go go for more
Oh,now your welcome with us
Now your welcome with us more
No,now your welcome with us more
And who could you,
Who would you disintegrate for?
disintegrate for,
disintegrate for,
disintegrate for.

This is my first time posting anything on this forum but I thought I'd finally upload something that might be of interest to some of you.

So Tom Hazelmeyer (Halo of Flies) recorded some new
music to accompany an art exhibit (http://www.apurgeofdissidents.com/). Then later added some vocals by Shannon Selberg and
David Yow to a couple of the songs. Also on that same page I came across some of his music under the name H.O.F. (Halo of Flies, maybe??) which I believe is all him. His music today is just as noisy as it ever was...
