Traveling by train. Running late because apparently a moose is blocking the tracks. It’s been standing there for an hour. They say they’ve been trying to ”push” the moose off the tracks.

I feel myself turning into a rural right-winger. Just get a dart gun and a truck, what the hell’s the problem?

Received my 6th COVID booster and a shingles vaccination. Scheduled out for a Tdap and final Mpox vax. Restarting CAB for PrEP that I halted at the start of the pandemic because nobody was out getting action, but things have now changed and papa bird can't fly on one wing. Turning into a goddamn pin cushion. Humans weren't meant for this. Gonna start listening to Aaron Rodgers.

Down to 197lbs due to intermittent dieting and no alcohol consumption (got the jump on dry January).

Saw the Faith Ringgold exhibit at MCA. So dynamic and vibrant. Absolutely wonderful.

Good, but exhausting day.

The internet tells me that adult moose weigh between 800 and 1600 lbs, so maybe they'd need a winch too.

I once tried to go hiking near Banff, only to learn that the trail was closed due to a grizzly eating a moose. Maybe they need a grizzly bear?

Yeah, that vaccine can really make you feel lousy, but this https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-con ... c-20351783 happened to someone I know due to shingles, so imo it's well worth a couple days of blah.
I’ve known multiple people have had short term face paralysis from shingles and it definitely sucks A LOT

A good friend contracted shingles a couple of years ago and he does not recommend it. I should have been more studious about the vaccine so I wouldn't be shocked by the side effects. That's on me. I'm familiar with the business end of a needle so I'm usually apathetic towards them.

You remember the "Friday, it's Friday" song? I got into the story of the girl who sang it. Becoming insta-famous was pretty tough for her and she was basically ostracized in school since the song was such a meme.

She kept with the music though. This is what she sounds like now. Stepped up the game I must say.

Christmas Night storm feat a mini tornado whipped through, power came back on at 3am yesterday. So much damage around the 'hood, trees down, roofs gone, signs missing.

No damage to Casa Del Speedie, thank Torlex.

3 days running on gereator power is no fun in the middle of the Oz summer.
