My girlfriend is taking a verbal beating on the phone from her 23-year-old son because she didn't return the mailbox key to its drawer when she brought the mail in yesterday.

She and I live at my apartment down the road a ways. He lives in the house she pays the mortgage on. She periodically brings him food, walks his dog, gets the mail. Sometimes I have to dig my nails into my forearm.

Anthem. My mom would play this song on piano when I was a kid. Sang it horribly, but was a gifted player.

Forever surprised at the lack of respect children and adult children show to their parents.

Listening to the Three Stooges.

Have become oddly interested in this song at 40 years of age after never caring about it before. Studying it, like Rivers Cuomo.

I like this version a lot. Sounds a lot more human, mysterious and sad because of what it would lead to. Lyrics seem cooler. Sounds like the opening or closing credits to the band.
