I think Rangers are going to lose the league and the UEFA Cup, but win the Scottish Cup. I don't see Manchester United losing Sunday. Chelsea either, but that will be moot.

It's been an interesting season. Obviously I'm disappointed with Hearts and Tottenham. Looks like Berbatov is leaving, but Spurs should be all right - with Ramos getting his team in for next year they should do well in the league, and the UEFA Cup should be wide open for them. I don't know what to think about Hearts though; looks like a rudderless ship up there.

Although this has been a foregone conclusion for weeks, may I be the first to congratulate Tommy on a fine season in the League Of Slackers. A deserved Manager Of The Year award beckons.

Having said that, I'd love to see the Fantasy Football people compile an alternative league table of everyone who refused to pick Ronaldo at any point of the season

Thanks. It gave me a reason to watch the Premiership and I had a lot of fun making all the little decisions each week. Fifty-one transfers in one season must be some sort of record. Next season I am going to propose a new rule - No players from any of the top four clubs (Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool). Any takers? I think it'll make it more interesting overall.

Commiserations to Manchester City fans. Not only did you get hammered 8-1, you're going to lose a perfectly decent manager and Manchester United won the sodding league again.

City: what the hell, City. What the hell. I heard reports on Radio Five of seats at the Riverside being thrown onto the pitch at the end; not like the Riverside needs all its seats, but what the hell, City. Sadly it seems like this is the actual logical conclusion of Shinawatra's involvement, and the progress under Eriksson was as illusionary is it might have first seemed. For the sake of Dudley and co I hope Sven's next job is dominating Portugal, rather than dominating the Premier League with Chelsea.

As for the FPL... I forgot to make any team changes this week but think I might have got an outside shot at Europe (fucks sake, City still made it). I remain a hardass on the whole 'Ronaldo ruined Fantasy Football' question but wouldn't go so far as to endorse bans or such because I feel like a dick for being a dick about it in the first place; to each his own is still a reasonable maxim. I would be intrigued to see what a Scum-free league looked like though - perhaps the way to do this would be for all the pledged Scum-free teams to have a concurrent league next season? That said, I'm content to just bitch on about from seventh, as long as noone takes me too seriously. Congratulations Tommy!

I wasn't able to get a ticket for the playoff semi-final tomorrow night; upon general sale Leeds' website slowed to a crawl that I wouldn't trust with my credit card credentials (had I even got that far) and the ticket office phone number gave off a 'disconnected' sound. Never mind. I will save the twenty-five quid and spent it in pubs over the two legs tomorrow and Thursday.

This season is not over. For one thing, Hull City today have taken an early jump at making it to the Premier League next season... Hull and Stoke in the Premier League in the same season - could it really come to pass?

Early on, when Arsenal were prominent in the league, absolutely everyone had Fabregas in their team and nobody gave a shit. I think a league with none of the top four would be really interesting. It would force people to look a bit further down the league. Otherwise next season will be pretty much the same as this one has turned out.

Ronaldo scored 80plus more points than Fabregas or any other player over the season, though. Ronaldo suffers a triple whammy here: he had a freakish season; he plays for the one team that every right minded individual should despise (I won't have any of them, no matter how few points they score); and he is an odious, whining, cheating little cunt.

Having him as captain every week seemed sort of an 'easy' option - it was interesting to see the results on the few weeks when he didn't play, which saw things mix up a bit more. Again, I'm trying to say all this without taking away from your win Tommy; I don't begrudge you it all... you after all beat the other teams which picked him and I doubt Wharfedale Generals would have been ahead with him in the team anyway.

And that's sort of why I wouldn't like a limit on players to be imposed in any case. It was entirely my decision not to pick him or any of his cuntish ilk and I am happy to live with the consequences. I also cannot see him having a season like this again because he's either 1) due an injury 2) can't score forty goals again, surely or 3) off to Real Madrid, the other despicable team he is surely destined to play for.

Congratulations to Tommydski for winning the League of Slackers. Also, thanks to everyone who participated. Made the season a lot more fun, and it's a pleasure to have competed with people from the PRF. I am already looking forward to next season.

I don't have a problem with using players from any team except Man U, and really that's just for personal reasons, so really even though I bitched about it a bit, anyone who was really playing for the win should have had Ronaldo in their team and kept him as Captain (which is what all three of the top ranked teams did.)

It wouldn't be to much trouble to set up a separate league for teams that excluded players from the top 4, and it would certainly be interesting finding out the best of the best from the "other" league.

Very disappointed that Manchester United won the league, but it was pretty much a given. As well as Wigan had done lately, I didn't think they were up to the job.

This silly season is going to be quite an interesting one.

Congratulations to Tommy on winning the PRFFL - a deserved win from the most consistent and shrewd manager amongst us this year. I'm pretty happy to have got second place, especially after a disastrous start that saw me second bottom for the first month! I quite like the idea of a league with no top four players in it - why don't we do both? A Premiership and a Championship, so to speak?

As for the real world - I thought it was a pretty good Premiership season all round. I was sad to see Reading go down - would have fucking loved it if it had been Bolton instead but never mind. There were some really good games though, some fantastic players, some ludicrous scores, plenty of people making twats of themselves, stupid sackings, plenty to complain about. Here's to the next one!

A two-tier system, Simmo? Why the hell not? It accurately mirrors premiership, after all.

Sadly, for me both the possible results of both the Premier League and the Champions league feel like a choice between eating your own shit or someone else's vomit. I'm glad that Chelsea didn't win, but gutted that it had to be United who did. Caring about the result either way is a form of mandatory Schadenfruede, which ain't great. I don't hate UNited any less than I did. I just hate Chelsea more. As far as using their players in FPL - pffft. I have no issue with it at all. It doesn't help them in any way, does it?

Sadly, no "conclusion" to Shinawatra's efforts is in sight. We're going to lose the core of our squad - I think yesterday's game turned into the on-pitch version of the protest that senior players wanted to make to Shinawatra, but Sven talked them out of it. Dunne, Richards, Ireland and loads of others. all seem to be on their way, all massively pissed off with peing pissed around and disregarded like this. We're going to start next season in worse more unproven shape than we did this one.

Goodbye teams, hello strip-mall franchise football.
