ok. lets see......
I once was in a car that flipped 5 or 6 times into a cornfield and was struck head on going 55 mph and was under a car when a jack flew out from under it and walked away without a scratch on all three instances.
my band crashed a music festival in st louis by renting a flatbed truck and a generator and driving right in the middle of everything and playing. we were prepared to go to jail but the festival people loved it and wrote a big article about it in the paper.
I am a pretty good boxer.
my uncle was in the guiness book for joke telling in 1987. he was also a guest on oprah and has met/worked with most great comics. he has some great stories.
I used to go explore abandoned houses in the middle of the night looking for "treasure"
I somehow have never been arrested. I was given 8 speeding tickets in my day and beat 6 of them in court by myself.
my dad owns a firetruck dealership where I work. from my desk I can see about 4 million dollars worth of fire apparatus. I think this is cool.
in cub scouts my den leader was a crazy vietnam vet guy. while other children were learning to make fucking birdhouses, he was teaching us how to survive in the woods and walk without making a sound.
I like long walks on the beach. I dont like hairy backs and I want to be a marine biologist.
I actually typed up most of this to share with you yesterday and lost it.

Now that is fucking weird.

My Uncle was also in the 1987 Guinness book of records for the most take off and landings.

he also played a round of golf at eighteen different courses with tony jacklin by flying his helicoptor and landing next to each tee.

I would pay good money to see a photo/video of that

I think you are ok a lot of the time.

I know you are here to argue most of the time and if that makes you happy then cool.

Your only post on here about something cool you do is a stolen line from a great film.

Which leads me to believe that you dont do this anyway.

And then you pick fights with people because THEY lead boring lives and not to steal shit.

I think you just did both of these crimes up there.

This is a great thread. Please dont fuck it up.

There is a difference between quoting something and stealing it, you know. Stolen is when you pass something off as your own. I would have to think nobody had ever seen stripes or that I could possibly have someone think I came up with that line. You know as well as I do I wasn't trying to pass that off as my own. You people are reaching, really reaching.
Plus, if you can come up with a better line to accompany that particular picture, in this particular thread, I would enjoy hearing it.

this is going in circles, so i'm going to draw up an analogy. in music, how many people have passed off the same chord progressions as "new?" how many times have you heard a 1-4-5 or a 1-5-6-4, and the band that was playing it was passing it off as their own "art?" people get ideas from elsewhere, and they use those ideas to express their own ideas. andy warhol "stole" photographs of marilyn monroe, et all, to make "art"; to make a philosophical point about the value of the artist over the art. we could go on and on about this. hemingway, as i pointed out earlier, "stole" the personalities of real people and worked them into his stories all the time. the list goes on. and on. and on.

so okay, some people can come up with brilliant ideas out of nowhere. i can't. most people can't. in fact, i could've just written a bunch of these into stories of mine without even asking. you'd probably never have read them anyway, and you'd never know it was me because i go by a pseudonym. instead, i chose to be courteous and ask. so fine, i'll use nothing from this thread. ever. and i'll still have an un-burned house when it's all said and done.

Dude, it's just Marsupialized. Don't let it get to you. If you want to use somebody's stories, other than Sro. Ralph or Sro. Upialized, just ask - yes or no, I don't think they'll get mad at you. I don't think Sro. Ralph did. I'll give you permission to use mine right now, if "My father was nominated for an Emmy" gives you any kind of inspiration.

And if you don't write a story based on that, I'll burn your house down.

Hey, the house burning thing is my line!
Just tweak it...'you use my stories I'll poop in your lawn'
or 'I'll poop in your bed'
I'm hearing something with poop, and you are doing it somewhere he dosen't want you to be doing it...
'You use my stories and I'll poop on your lawyer'
There ya go.
