My username is pretty obvious, seeing as
the book it comes from has sold about 40 bazillion copies in a million languages. Even though it's not integral to the plot or anything, I'm still surprised that not many get the reference. Whatever.
It's been my email address for, what, almost ten years now, and seemed like a good alterative to
guitarguy666 or
sexydoll45.
Still, a bit cheesy.

First of all, I'd like to apologize to Max, wherever he is. When I joined this place I had lurked for a good while and saw no Max. When I tried to get 'Max' and I didn't, I assumed he was probably one of the many people who sign up for a username, make one post, and then disappear forever. I still see posts from Max now and then, and I'm sorry.
'Max' is an old high school nickname I acquired, because of my illicit, illogical love for the 70's Canadian rock band Max Webster.

Paging zom back to the thread. If not for him, I wouldn't have ever heard of this band (!), I have downloaded some torrents, but have not examined them in detail. The one song I heard reminded me of Leo Sayer, but again, I have not examined in detail, and will say that that is not a condemnation.
BTO is one Canadian rock band that I have examined since I was 10, and have loved ever since.
Has anyone acquired the username "BTO"? I thought of that and "Humble Piepants" as potential usernames.

It was while taking a break during practice that this came on TV. Everyone was drinking and smoking and we could not stop laughing. For some reason, this was the funniest thing I had seen on SNL in a long time.

I was doing a search, and it asked for my name and password to see a post for some reason. It pissed me off so I put in the first offensive thing that came to mind. It turns out the post I was trying to read had been moved or deleted.

The classic first initial last name scenario.
