I see your 92 degree heat with 35% humidity and raise you 2 degrees, thunderstorms and about 25% more humidity.

I just spent an hour tonight rigging up sand bags. There's a house in the neighborhood that was in immediate peril of sinking to the bottom of Lake Monona, or at east near Bell's Island. I was surprised that I was hanging out with the local Huber Law crew. It was late. They were supplied with pizza, menthol cigs, and water. Almost makes me wanna go to jail, except for that menthol bull shit.

Kools? Yes, yuck indeed.

It was pretty surreal to see that house from Lake Delton fall into the new tributary of the Wisconsin River on CNN over and over. Supposedly the village of Lake Delton and FEMA(a long time ago) could not agree on a figure for what is flood stage. As a result, those folks couldn't buy flood insurance as FEMA wouldn't certify the area or rather FEMA didn't come to an agreement with the village as to what an exceptable flood crest level was. Sad.

So should Lake Delton now be called Delton?

So tonight I asked my Dane County inmate friends where the guard with the shot gun was. Some nice fellow said, "we're mostly only here for not paying child support and domestic violence."

You were hoping for some Cool Hand Luke action, busbus?

I prefer the Newman's Own version of Oreos. Don't you? They're organic and soon to be a collectors item.

Makes me hate my 10 year long battle with cigs.
