The first disc of Tago Mago is, to me, the rock version of Beethoven's 9th Symphony, especially considering how the finales of both reference the previous three parts.

After an extended interval screening of The Beatles 1965 performance at Hollywood Bowl, the second half of the show brings together a supergroup led by Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), featuring ex-Beatles drummer Ringo, as well as The Beatles singer Paul McCartney, realising and reinterpreting the band s music.
