I miss him too!

Come back to the Five and Dime, Marky G, Marky G.

Detail from my day: on my third iced coffee, and probably going to crack open a fourth.

Dealing with financial crap, which I hate hate hate.

Between the two, my head will explode in about an hour.

I look behind me, and all I see is a trail of decimated dandelions. *pop!*

The talking head morning tv show has never been my thing.
(you know fake banter and comraderie and even faker tans) but this morning i flipped on the the old yap box as i was perusing e-mail.

Lo and and behold the local morning show played Christine by Siouxsie and the Banshees as the intro music on one of it's segments and followed up
the next segment with Steely Dan's Peg.

This is going to be an odd day. I hope i don't get dead.

I'm putting my cat "to sleep" in a couple hous. I cannot imaging feeling worse. I know many of you on thios forum have pets and I'm just here to say love your animals while they're around. I do not have children so I do not know the pain that the loss of a child could possibly be.
However I know that I feel great pain right now, and like I said, cherish your animals while theyre around and never take them for granted.

Hug yoiur pets tonight extra lovingly.

thanks to skyy vodka and mgd for getting me through this.

Sorry Richard, I feel you. Life is short and bittersweet.

Today I found out that a local electronics store that recently went out of business, threw away all their vacuum tubes and the tube tester. THEY SMASHED ALL THE TUBES IN THE DUMPSTER. LIKE SHELVES FULL OF TUBES.

WHAT...

Boombats, I hate hearing about shit like that. What a waste.

Theres an electronics company located a block away from my house that threw away tons of adaptors, 1/4" jacks, RCA jacks, switches, and other cool things which I made sure to scrape up before the garbage men came. I check their dumpster often.

As for my day, I'm supposed to be canvassing for the 49th ward alderman, but I'm calling in for the third time this week. I still haven't gotten a check and I'm not obligated to show up more than 3 times a week. I'm also waiting for a local record store to call me and tell me if I'm hired or not. I think I should mess around and experiment with mics and recording techniques and such since I'm not doing anything today.
