I've been looking for the following for a few years now (both out of print):

SEA SCOUTS - Pattern Recognition

and/or

BIRD BLOBS - Stihl Life

I even went so far as to contact the guy who used to run the label who used to put out these CDs in Australia. He was going to send CRD copies to me...but never did. So...uh...Tim...if you're reading this...you can send them anytime. Thanks.

Or if someone has them to upload, that'd be swell, too.

Try Au-Go-Go records in Melbourne.Bird Blobs is listed on this page in the Aust/NZ second hand section.

Just realized that page may be an old one, worth a try.

Fugazi's most angular, corrosive, Wagnerian and underrated record:
Steady Diet of Nothing (1991)

There is absolutely no reason to upload any commercially available Fugazi releases.

Or at minimum, handle that ilk through PM.

Just sayin'!

Come on!

Agreed. Things like that might lead to the shutting down this thread, and I would concur with that action.

But, please feel free to upload anything and everything by Metallica.
Fuck Lars.

I think the rules to this thread were no commercially available releases.

Although your intentions are noble, I think the Minutemen and Fugazi releases should be removed...especially since a quick trip to Best Buy could net you these two classics.

To be fair, though, that Minutemen album is the LP version. Three of the tracks aren't on the CD release.

I've got the LP, and the CD somewhere...I didn't notice three tracks were omitted on the CD.

Frontier - Recorded Live at The Empty Bottle, 7.23.96

Psychedelic space rock. Sheets of guitar noise, stuttering with time delay effects skate over the top of iterative, downbeat-heavy bass lines. Frontier's rhythm section showed some defiinite hip hop and drum 'n' bass influence. Kinda in the same vein as early Flaming Lips and noisier Spacemen 3.
