is District Line any good? along the lines of Last Dog and Pony Show maybe (hopefully)...

You can think of it as Body of Song v. 2.0, with Bob being more settled into the BoS formula this time out. Less angsty, more thoughtful. Bob's gotten over a lot of stuff, although the last verse of track 3 is one of his best recent-period zingers. There's a touch more acoustic and more developed dynamics this time out. I like it.

oh god... i thought Body of Song was pretty horrible actually. i bought and sold that one quite quickly. will give the new one a listen though...

If you're going to get a new Bob release, you'd probably do better with the Circle of Friends DVD than either of his last two records. The DVD is from the 9:30 date of his '05 tour, full all-star band, with a great set list heavy on Hüsker Dü and Sugar numbers. Brendan does a pretty damn good Malcolm Travis, and I'll be damned if they didn't nail Sugar's live sound opening the main set with the first three off Copper Blue.

For a confession, that's pretty high comedy.

Thank you. It was at the time too. No one actually believed me. I still have the photo booth pictures in a safe place next to my picture of me and Albini and the Velvet Elvi from 1991.

Also, I don't like Fugazi. Maybe if I had heard them when I was around 13 or so I'd like them, but I didn't and I don't.

Does all of Ozzy's catalogue fall under this statement? I feel like Dianogah has been playing a song lately that reminds me of Crazy Train.
