I am torn. I can:
a) hope you don't have a CRT, because punching those tubes can hurt like hell if you do it wrong.
b) hope you don't have an LCD, because it would surely not withstand the force of such an impact and you'd be out a few hundred bucks or so.
c) hope you DO have an LCD and will take a picture of the damage, because shattered LCDs look awesome.
d) hope you have a CRT, and iron hands, and magically everything is okay.
What am I hoping for kerble?
e) LCD monitor is fine, as I pulled my punch. still works, looks fine. there is a fist print in the glass, but that may just be oil from my skin. the punch that hurt and swelled up my knuckles was the pantry door.

Do be careful, both of you. I still have (and probably always will) a bent metacarpal in my right hand from incorrectly landing a punch to a cork bulletin board in the library where I used to work. The cork board was hung from one of those grade-school super-shellacked cinder block walls, see.
I am prone to bouts of similar anger, but have always managed to throw my punches at objects rather than people. I have no fear that one day I will slip and throw one at a person, but have decided all the same that punching things is generally a bad idea.
Please. Careful.

Yes have some. Ditto for me on the forever bent right-hand metacarpal. For me it's my pinky (fifth metacarpal?), and the surface was my roomates loft bed. Still aches pretty bad a couple times a month. I broke it in 1996, so I guess it's always going to be there.
I play piano, so my mother was very upset... "Matthew, why couldn't you have used your foot?"
Oh, it'll have it's day mom.

I would like to offset this thread by saying that my girl and I now have two puppies. They were rescued. Both 3 months old. Brother and Sister. They eat, sleep and wrestle in between relieving themselves all over the apartment.
They are sleeping now.
Good night and drive safely.
