Faint praise? ;)
Oh for sure, but still a great surprise.

One more thing to add concerning Heat, which occured to me on this rewatch is that the music is really well designed, and songs from Einsturzende Neubauten and a Moby(?!) cover of Joy Division become an indistinguishable part of the original score without sticking out. And unlike most shitty action films it’s not mixed up front. It’s all very much part of a cohesive whole with the images and foley.

Hive - a Kosovan drama from last year, based on a true story. Very good.

I recently watched a film that featured Joe Meek's "I Hear a New World" in it. Anyone help me out here?

Pretty sure this isn't it, but there is a Meek biopic, from about 10 or more years ago, made by Nick Moran, one of the actors from Lock Stock... and with Kevin Spacey in. It's OK,

Length aside, loved it. By far and away the best modern Batman movie. A great surprise.
Yeah that was good. Pattinson is great. Still don't think Zoe Kravitz is a good actor, but quite the looker.

No that's not it, it was a feature that used the track. Thanks for that though!
