The Miseducation... is a great title. I read an article about it once where someone explained that "miseducation" meant the things that you learn or are being taught wrong during your upbringing about how you look at yourself and your place in the world and how to unconsciously belittle yourself and so on. It meant particular things to her as a black woman of course but man if that didn't resonate with me. Never heard someone put it in those clear terms before.

Their whole discography's pretty rockin'. Seems like more of a Terminal Boredom kind of band than a PRF one, though.

I went on a trip with Lauryn Hill and her MTV Unplugged is pretty cool. She is definitely best with a live band. And here she is covering a Sade song and I love it which surprised me because I've never liked Sade. So I went and listened to some Sade and I love that too.

Kind of a classic track at this point, but it's easy to admire production-wise as the sound is neither too sparse nor overblown.
