First ever: My parents took me to the Nebraska State Fair to see the Moody Blues when I was about 5. I vaguely remember the grandstands and hearing them play "Nights In White Satin" 'cause it had been on the radio a bunch in the car.

First by choice: Rush, Grace Under Pressure tour, Rosemont (IL) Horizon.

First punk rock show: Naked Raygun at Metro. They opened with "Soldier's Requiem".
Let's stick together and futurize our attitudes!

Fugazi, The Make Up, and Branch Manager. September 1995. Brewery Thunderdome. Louisville, Kentucky.

I was 15 and with a friend who had turned me onto Fugazi a few months prior. We thought the Make Up were such a fucking joke and just ridiculed them in typical teenage fashion. Later on, they became a band I appreciated and enjoyed very much, so....yeah.

I saw Metallica supporting Ozzy back at the Aragon Ballroom in 86. Awesome show. Cliff Burton. End of chat.

They played at the Aragon? Why did my asshole uncle drag me up to alpine valley if they were playing at the Aragon?

AC/DC, supported by Whitesnake, Fastway, and Quiet Riot at the Tacoma Dome in '83. I was 13, and my dad took me and my brother. Pretty cool of him in retrospect, seeing as though he probably felt kinda dumb around all the puking drunks and wigged-out stoners.

Wish I still had the jersey I got at that show:

Lame album, but a pretty sweet shirt.

The opening act?

I'm confused. I thought Rainbow formed in 74 or 75 and that the MC5 broke up in 1972 or 1973.
I take it I'm mistaken...?
