A regular phenomenon: Consecutive days of noticeably warmer weather, sun and clear sky. You get the feeling that spring is on its way.
And then BAM - two inches of snow in one afternoon.
Swedes refer to this phenomenon as 'April weather', as in the weather is playing April's fool on you.
Today is such a day - right on time.

1912Chicago/Milwaukee/much of the midwest has this shit too. It's been colder and drearier the last 2 weeks than it was most of February, while a lot of the country is in t-shirts. I hate this time of year.kokorodoko wrote: Tue Apr 02, 2024 10:55 am A regular phenomenon: Consecutive days of noticeably warmer weather, sun and clear sky. 1919Visiting my son in Louisville this week. Drove up to Cincinnati today to watch a baseball game. Only been here once before to go to the zoo a few years ago. Kind of drove all over the place today because he wanted to visit a couple of manga shops. I like it here.

1920A bumblebee flew in through an open window and ended up stuck in a corner. I put up a hand in front of it, it turned around and found its way out again. If it were a wasp it would just continue to fly around erratically, banging into closed windows while an open one was right beside it.
