I’ve noticed that when I exhale audibly out of stress, it reflexively cues up:
- Jeff Buckley’s cover of “Hallelujah”; or
- Pink Floyd’s “Mother”;
in my head.
(Just a minute ago, it was the latter.)

I never really liked the Cohen original, but the Buckley "Hallelujah" is so awful. It's like the soundtrack to every TV medical drama.

An old friend just got permabanned. The last post I saw from him was him happily sitting at an outdoor cafe table with his dog. Apparently that's offensive to zuck.
