We got this local chain type joint here in Baltimore called Tyrone's Chicken.

I've never been but supposedly they're so cheap that for $5 you can get like 50 pieces of chicken or something ridiculous like that.

Another interesting tidbit about the place I've also heard is that a slice of cake from there costs $15.

Popeyes? KFC? psssh. Chicken basket in Willowbrook. Fuck yeah. Lunch buffet, 6 bucks. They even have their own chicken beer, and a shitty live blues band, gotta love it.

...but is the chicken really better? my old place of employ was right there and we had a "company outing" which comprised of getting drunk in the holiday inn bar and then eating at the nearby expensive-as-fuck italian place. I suggested the chicken basket to those ninnies and they just kind of looked at me and suggested i have another fine glass of merlot.

....but i have to pick something up from there, so i reiterate, is it really all that good, marsupial eyes?

I do not know this marsupial's eyes. I do not know what they see. I do know the marsupial's taste buds have experienced good chicken. It can indeed be found at the Dell Rhea's establishment . Be not deceived by the exterior, nor by the interior of this establishment. There is no fear to be found there, only fine eating such as is difficult to find in these days of tribulation.

And get you a root beer...they have good root beer...

Popeye's is pretty great usually, except when it shares space with a Shell station. You order an 11 piece mixed, and you get one piece of white meat. That's fucked up.

Not crap, though. A solid not crap. Great chicken, of course, but man, those sides! Dirty rice, splendid, best fries anywhere, fake mashed potatoes, but the gravy makes it.

Here in Houston and surrounding, we have this chain called Hartz. Quality varies according to location, but most of them are fantastic. All you can eat, $7. Fried chicken, hot wings, rotisserie chicken, collard greens, the whole schmeer. THAT place is not crap. We eat there once a week.
