Dude, he's been on network TV twice. Once with Yoko Ono!

Neil Hamburger was also discussed on this thread.

I don't care for him, but I do applaud his very existence!

folks the "joke" is he's a sad sack who's trying to be funny
but he isn't - insane, and yet such a brilliant Kaufman-esque
schtick that I don't even know if I'm supposed to not at all
like him or if i'm supposed to "enjoy" his "humor" on an ironic
level of a sub-contextural critique of society in general which
only me and my very very smart friends are allowed to enjoy
or if he's just not fucking funny. THAT I LIKE - and the very
best thing is, I don't even have to listen to him.

Mr Turkington, if you didn't exist it would have been necesary
to invent you. I will not give you money!

but I say NOT CRAP - and no waffles, howzat?

What's the difference between Courtney Love and the American flag?

*cough*

It would be wrong to urinate on the American flag! *wheeze*

What's best about Neil is how successful he is in remaining in a world but always exactly 17-20 years behind it, yet still struggling to adapt to modern pop culture, but using old standards to crassly combine them with modern "raw" trends in comedy, or what he sees is good-and-standard vs. what's new-and-raw

(Gregg works really hard to accurately create this character obviously stuck in a certain time, how the character struggles to adapt to the new times, which is the main reason I like Neil Hamburger, as a whole.)

Not sure, but Gregg Turkington or whomever will always receive my eternal gratitude for the first track on this record:
