Have you tried using a smaller ratio? I would fiddle with the attack/release times a bit on some pre-recorded material till you get the hang of it. Of course, any one of my eighteen 1176's do the job without having to fiddle. Makes the bullshit nice and warm, almost
steaming.
Question for STEVE: Does David Wm. Sims like digital alarm clocks?
