28Never heard this band. However, since the Laughing Hyenas' original rhythm section left to join, I'm assuming they're gonna be some nasty punk-blues of the stripe that I would like very much. Definitely going to check them out.

29Hands down, one of the top ten bands I have seen perform live, and it was a free show.
P.W. really does eat moon pies and whiskey for dinner, and the guitar is an extension of his fucking arm. I haven't seen many people so comfortable playing their instrument as him. Great guitar sound, great playing and a damn good rhythm section to boot.
Several people that I took to this show were so in awe that they spilled pint glasses of beer on their shirts in excitement.
The second time I could have seen them play was the night I graduated from undergrad school. They broke up a few months later. Fuck!
I saw P.W. play a few years later with Dan Maister (SP?) and MacMcNeilly and it too was 110% kickass. Not quite as good as Mule, but almost there.
Not a huge fan of the P.W. Long albums though. Kind of dull if you ask me.
NOT CRAP.
