mono makes very good music at times.

sometimes, when an audience is bored it means the audience is boring.....

I saw Mono on Saturday night. They were pretty incredible.

And their bass player is hot.

Not crap.

Mono is fucking awesome.

Just for clarification, I am not trying to be a total dick with the yawn picture but I gotta admit that the onslaught of this sub genre in the last few years is making me sleepy.

Mono is by far one of the better bands in this grouping (I love "under the pipal tree") but they are still using a formula that has very limited shelf life for me.

After Mono broke up, the singer Siobhan de Mare formed another band with Robin Guthrie.The band is called Violet indiana and have released 2 albums and a compilation:Roulette(1999);Cassino(compilation, 2001); Russian Doll(2004).

We're talking about a different Mono.

Saw them live in Moscow recently. That they even came to Russia = NOT CRAP.
