Is this Carmine Appice?

I used to think that he was the biggest cheeseball ever. And that includes watching him play for King Diamond. I began to feel differently when I began reading his (now out-of-print) drum books. He's actually a pretty good instructor.

Doug Henning? Gallagher?

Jeez, I'm bad at off-the-cuff drummer recognition.

When I build a snare, I think I might use that.

Thank you for introducing me to Ego.

I am excited about your giant drum kit, bomberz1qr20!

It's very similar to the Trick strainer, although they will finish it in pretty much anything you'd want (powder coating, chrome, etc). They don't do anodizing unfortunately.

Update:

The Ego strainer was a dog, it would loosen while I played the drum.

Oh, and the drum turned out great BTW -

I've seen a lot of art in my day, and that is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

I bet it sounds like god, too.
