wow, what's going on in chicago over those three days? plane tickets are hella expensive. might have to shop around a bit....

I saw them a few times (not nearly enough) but I think my favorite one ever was the legendary Touch & Go/Sub Pop "cruise" gig for one of the New Music Seminars.

The Didjits were amazing that night, and Rick Sims wore a pink and white fuzzy jacket - the very same one I had at home at the time. I felt a special bond with him. I could go on for hours about how Rick Sims was one of the people who inspired me to make rock music, but I'll spare you.

I thought for a brief period of time that if I played an SG I would rule the universe because of Rick Sims.

I think we all know how that turned out.

Ah, Chicago in September. Can't wait.

Is this going to be a one time only deal for Scratch Acid? If they enjoy it , would doing a tour around the U.S. be out of the realm of possibility? Don't even need to make a new record but a tour would be nice.....
