and the food's shit

Fearing London and believing the UK's food to be shit go together like cheese and pickle.

Or pickled eggs and salt and vinegar crisps.

i don't fear !! it's just overrated. actually, i fear the food. as for your foodstuffs, stop it! it's all my favorites in one delicious quote.

I don't believe it's possible to over-rate London. London is a fucking incredible city. Exhausting, but incredible.

Anyway, enough thread-jacking for me!

i have to agree. london is fucking amazing. i love it. its my home.

i've played some amazing shows in london, i've played some dismal shows where the audience consisted of mostly haircut gestapo and everyone walked out (actually that was ok too) but why is it that no matter how much money i bring, or how few things i buy by the time i'm home i'm poor again?
My pretty pony! Why, Zorak, why? You could have had any woman you wanted! But you chose the woman I love almost as much as I love myself! You ruined my life, you ruined her life, and now, I'm going to ruin your life!!!

Would anyone happen to know if Shellac is EVER planning on playing a show relatively close to New York? By relatively close, I mean as close as, say, Baltimore, or Washington, or Philly, or even Boston.

I was pretty psyched when I saw the thread, and equally dissappointed when I saw that they weren't planning on playing in my neck of the woods. I understand that part of their deal is that they choose where they want to play and don't go on obligatory tours to promote albums; are there any particular negative associations with the New York area? Just wondering if I should "not hold my breath" as they say.

When did this band wake back up, and what are they planning on doing?

Chris, YOU NEVER PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I SAY!

They are coming to the States in July (at least that is what Ago said when I talked to him last) and planning on hitting all the usual places.

I am excited, because it means another opportunity to learn Italian slang.
I make music/I also make pretty pictures

Oh, Jeez. Poor, poor New York. Never getting any shows.

Try living where I live, which could actually be considered a "neck of the woods".

Sorry dude, didn't mean to come off as a complainer. I was just curious as to whether Shellac had any plans to come back to this area. A couple of my friends saw them at Rutgers or Princeton a few years back but they were on heroin or something so they don't remember too much about it.
