kenoki, you can determine many of the album titles by right-clicking the photo and viewing the URL information. For your convenience, I will state that my favorite record is Public Enemy's "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back".

salut, oucheh.
Fat Elvis delivers me to a great place. Sly gets me there quicker, though.

I better see either a Ride the Fader or a Let There Be Rock cover pretty soon.

And no Marquee Moon? Tom Waits but no Marquee Moon?

This is an intriguing choice!

I am to smile!

Salut!

I couldn't even begin to choose my second favourite record of all time ever. So much great music, all so different, all so impossible to judge. But for some reason this record (in it's original unrereleased form) stands out like the beautiful gem it is. The melodies buried in the wild guitar playing tear at my heart every time - the power is immense - and by the end of the short journey I am a different person - who needs to play this record again. It washes me clean. It makes people smile!

Jacques, would you like to start a Disco Inferno cover band with me? I was going to pick that record but then I decided to go with something that I have consistently listened to since I was a teenager. Still, as always, these picks are near the top for me too.

As wild and beautiful as this record is, I have been told by people who were there (and I am not quite old enough to have been "there") that this first incarnation of the Meat Puppets was much wilder and more insane than even this record indicates.

People who saw the Meat Puppets play back then still cannot get over it.

[apologies for thread-jack]
