I can't get into this "best" thing...I don't see a difference between "best" and "who I like." Maybe that's my problem. Mariah Carey might have a thousand octave range but all that vibrato American Idol-approved singing sounds really bad to me. On the other hand, I love Dan Bejar. If he went to try out for your local glee club, he'd get thrown out on his fuzzy ass. But: who's the better of the two?

for active rock'nroll ladies, Katie Eastburn from the band Young People has an excellent voice. I like Chan's too... aw hell, how 'bout the Casady sisters. sure, mix it up... if we're throwing eddie vedder and sam prekop out there, why not cocorosie while we're at it.

man!!!! some of you peeps be TRIPPPIN. hope sandoval? BEST female singer? pleasently atmospheric when coupled with an assfuck of reverb, oh definitely. mark lanegan???? eddie veder???? SAM PREKOP!? oh come ON now.
