As Mosca clearly said:Mama ti se dobro jebe!If you find some croatian person in your country ( I hear Pittsburg is full of them) he will transate this sentence like this :"your mother fucks really good."

Actually that would be "your mother fucks really well" since we're all correcting grammar here. :D

um, and, monster cable blows.

And neither "slapdash" nor "loser" appear in the version of Webster's that I've got.

I'm a Mogami fan.

i heard from a friend that monster has lifetime warranties on all of its cables

$125 for twenty feet of mic cable for the rest of your life seems pretty cool

if they indeed do have a lifetime warranty.

are you being serious or sarcastic?

Monster cable is a rip off, even with the guarantee. I can build a better 20 ft microphone cable for under $25 myself (and so can you), and it's got a lifetime guarantee as well... 'cause I can fix it myself. And I don't have to deal with anyone or wait for a new cable to ship when it does break. Monster cable is for lazy people with a lot of money to throw away.

About mic cables...

I was talking to a friend who now does live sound, and previously worked as an engineer manufacturing analog consoles. He said that ONE key reason which makes Mogami more expensive than a no-name manufacturer is that the insulation they use makes the cables flexible and extremely durable. He thought the longevity of Mogami cabling well outlasted most of its competitors.

I found it interesting. I never really knew what made one type of cabling better than another.

BUMP.

I forgot about this argument - the first few posts are quite enjoyable.
