In Baltimore, we've got tons of Heroin. No need to stay awake on meth to see the decaying industrial rust belt. Same thing in New Jersey.

When I worked in the medical records department of the hospital in my depressed northwest logging town, I used to see this come up a lot. I remember one week, a woman kept bringing herself and her kids in every day because of all the worms she kept finding just under their skin. It was equally depressing and funny to watch the toxicology reports come in.

At least the meth doesn't have the "hip" quotient that coke has/had. It's almost exclusively for the trailer parks and bikers 'round these parts.

it is so depressing to see how popular the use of this is where i grew up in northwestern WI. i am of the school that could never put something in my nose or use a needle to catch a buzz.
