The Clash
The (original) Modern Lovers
Green River
The Sonics (who my dad saw!)
The MC5
The Wipers
Minor Threat (but only if I could have been 15 years old for the show)

At some point in my life, I'd like to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

I'm only going to select bands I could have realistically seen, if I'd lived close to a major city when I got into music in 1992. Otherwise, the list would be far too long:

Nirvana (almost saw their last US show in Spokane, damn parents wouldn't drive me to the show)
Silkworm (quartet lineup)
Guided by Voices (classic lineup)
Pavement (circa "Wowee Zowee")
Drive Like Jehu
Fugazi
Bedhead
Rodan
Crain
Trusty

I used to have this conversation with friends where we'd all pick only one band.
After much consideration I decided upon The B-52's before their first LP came out.
I'm glad I saw that video of "Rock Lobster" on YouTube. I felt validated.
Holy shitballs... that looked like a good time.
