Finding a job.
Going to the dentist (I have to have gas, just to get my mouth open).
Flying on airplanes (They are shaped like big yard darts).
Flossing when all you want to do is get into bed.
Knowing your dear friend is marrying the wrong person, and there's just nothing you can do about it.

I enjoy haircuts, but hair all over the place after, in your ears, down your back, isn't so good. Immediate shower required.

Mowing the lawn isn't so bad. Mowing the lawn and then drinking most of an ice cold beer from a can in one pull on a hot afternoon, now that's tingly.

Its a shitty task to have to relate to/talk to yokels at your place of work. You cant just not talk to people(i guess you could but i cant).

This hip hop loving white dude at my work was telling me how it sucks that pitbulls are being banned in ontario. I was all like that sucks, its just another dog as far as im concerned. Then he was like ya I know but man my dog has never lost a fight. Then proceeded to bounce up and down ever so slightly to that fucking gnarls barkley song while chopping some onions.

Its also a shitty task to give your mother a late birthday phone call. The only way to get through it is to talk about how much you suck the whole time.

PS hair cuts feel good to me.

Having to phone up your relatives to tell them that a family member is dead.

That's worse than looking for a job.

Get on with it.

long flights, agreed.

cleaning the cat box.

revising the work you thought you had finished.

pulling up carpet which has been glued down.

stop and go traffic on the highway due to everyone wanting to watch a cop write somone a speeding ticket.

Laundry. I hate doing it. My desire for cleanliness forces me to do it, but I usually hold out for as long as possible.

I also don't like having to relearn things I once knew. It makes me feel stupid to have lost the majority of a concept that ten years ago made absolute sense.

I love to cook but I hate washing dishes. I have never owned a dishwasher and that is perhaps why.

Everything else I am pretty ok with.

- diagnosing and remedying a serious motor vehicle problem when you:
a) can't afford to pay someone to do it
b) don't have a mechanic pal to help out
c) don't know what the fuck you're doing
d) don't have a viable public transportation alternative

- laying the "um, you might want to go get checked out for STDs" call on the appropriate person(s) after someone else has laid the "um, you might want to go get checked out for STDs" call on you.

(EDIT: maybe these don't really qualify for "that most will face in life")

Getting a haircut? Cleaning the catbox? C'mon, now people...

Choosing between:

a) "potential fulfillment in a far-off place"

and

b) "remaining near to those you love, at the detriment of personal growth"

getting arrested and sitting in jail for hours and hours kinda sucks.
Getting a chick you don't really give two fucks about pregnant sucks.
Sitting next to a fat person on a airplane or on the el sucks.
Car accidents suck.
Traffic sucks.
People who talk to you while you are trying to piss suck.
Work sucks.
Not being able to afford something you really need sucks.
Being stuck in Atlanta for any amount of time sucks.
Losing your wallet sucks. Losing your keys sucks.
Flat tires suck.
getting your oil changed sucks.
That el stop where 50 black teenage girls get on at the same time and have a contest to see who can screech and yell the loudest sucks.
