http://www.chicagoist.com/archives/2006 ... _is_it.phpthat is my source for all of this. so i could be way off base. it was, however, enough for me to say "forget - it".
think i should reconsider?

I was there and the boys put a a hell of a fucking show. Outside a couple incidents with overzealous security guards early, their set was great from start to finish. Since I was too young to see them before, it was definitely the highlight of my show-attending life...

I'm not very good at estimating numbers, but it didn't seem too crowded when the first two bands were playing. Then while I'm waiting for Raygun I realized that I could not move. Last question:
Did they or did they not play Soldier's Requiem, in all its OH-OH-OH, or however you'd spell that oh'ing.

They did not play Soldier's Requiem, but made up for it with a bevy of other WHOA-HEY-HO'able songs. The bookends were The Strip and Managua...
Grammer question - is it WHOA-HEY-HOable, WHOA-HEY-HO'able or something else entirely?

I think WHOA-HO-HO'able. or maybe the hyphen? WHOA-HEY-HO-able.
I am contacting Jeff as we speak to see if he can send me scan's of his diary entries from 1988. I am sure he had to have written that out several 100 times.
