I have ordered a book of selected non-fiction writing by Borges inspired by reading about intriguing twin essays under the title
A New Refutation of Time.
His exit sigh in this text is priceless:

im argentinian too. nevermind Sebastian, he only says CRAP in order to annoy everyone. if you ever read a book, or have at least one percent of culture or brain, you would never say CRAP to a genius like borges.

Absolutely brilliant writer. I was just rereading some of his short stories this morning and got one of those moments where life just feels more worth living after reading something.

The best prose writer in spanish language. Period.
I have to study his work a lot while in college and even had to wrote an essay on "Death and the Compass". I got and A (a 10 actually, we don't use letter grades here) and a congratulation on that work
"A New Refutation of Time" it's so fucking amazing. And
Fictions it's probably the best short stories collections I've ever read.
