"Extraordinary" by Liz Phair. I actually stayed up to watch her perform it on Craig Kilborn's show on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, this required watching some of Craig Kilborn's show. I liked "Why Can't I", too. I'm actually considering buying this record. I have a soft spot for Liz Phair.
On a related note, I liked "Complicated" by Avril Levigne. They played it a lot on an R&B station in Chicago two summers ago, I think, and I always turned it up a little.
I like "Higher" by Creed and dream of one day singing it in a karaoke bar. I always play it on weak jukeboxes. I like some other Creed songs, but I don't know what they're called.
I like most of the songs on Kylie Minogue's record, Fever, and I have to be physically restrained from putting it on at parties.

There's some Pink song my sister played ALL last summer... by then end I knew all the words. And that stupid "C'est La Vie" song by.. umm B*witched (Yes, the * is essential)? I'm quite sad no one joined me in support for "Come on Over", as it's about the best I thing CA has to offer.

its been a while since my last confession but here goes...
"criminal" by fiona apple
"stranglehold" by ted nugent
this one is one I dug for a short while and then cool took over and I got over it:
show me how to live by audioslave.
while audioslave has so far made many boring singles and this song has terrible verses, the vocal chorus hook gets me every time.
when i sorta dug the incubus song about dethroning bush, I decided it was time to go back to listening to am radio

Excellent! First, "Important bands I haven't heard" and now "ghey songs I like" Suddenly I'm a genius.
Total Eclipse of the Heart - the pomp and bombast of Jim Steinman paired with the gravely impassioned pipes of Bonnie Tyler. Easily the best ghey song ever.
Mad About You - Belinda Carlisle - A close second. When I die bury me in soft focus with Belinda running along the beach in the background.
Just Like Heaven - The Cure - The musical reconstruction of a high school crush. Dinosaur Jr. covered this one and it still sounded fey. Need I say more.

totally gae - candlebox - "far behind" but if i hear it in the car it'll be cranked with window open. total 90's pseudo seattle sound.
embarrassingly gae - journey - "any way you want it", but it makes me giggle because it flashes back to the scene in caddyshack on the golf course.
