i thought the drummer of steve’s band was very reminiscent of blackie onassis (urge overkill) in his prime.

I thought the show was spectacular. Very loud, very tight, very funny. And they played "Wingwalker", too, which they didn't play the last time they were in DC about four years ago. That alone made my night.

I have to say that show was most excellent. A very satisfactory evening. Ran into people I hadn't seen in years.

Uzeda is one of the tightest bands I remember seeing in some time.

I think this was the first time I've seen Shellac where the heckling from the crowd was at a minimum.

I can't remember where I've witnessed two subsequent deconstructivist rock acts that both do it so well in their own way, and see so many people enjoy it.
