If it were up to the sushi chefs (at the least the couple I know) they would prefer to just make the food and you would eat whatever it is they prepared, regardless of what you want. You probably pissed them off becuz they were trying to give you some advice and you ignored it.

Really stuff shouldn't be on a menu if they don't want to make it.

My wife manages a sushi resturant and I've learned to order just by asking what's good and telling them if there is anything I won't eat. There are times when they straight up won't let me get what I want.

If the chef offers Omakase, that is the best way to go, as long as you do not have food allergies, and are not afraid to try new things. This virtually guarantees you the best (freshest) the chef has on hand, as well as the respect of said chef in that you trust his expertise...

is that where you stick your dick in the fish's mouth? I have seen that done, yes

only if the "fish" was a sperm whale. I would be the father of a reallllllly artificially inseminated mermaid. ..but since seppuku is what you are talking about, piranha's mouth is where I would insert my usb dongle. Quick ctrl+alt+del

Went to Coast tonight.
Real nice place, real good food. The service was outstanding, I left a bigger tip than I've ever left anywhere before and it felt good.

I thought that other place we went to was the most expensive sushi place within walking distance of the new pad but I was wrong, this was roughly twice as expensive but also twice as good. Well worth it.
I can't imagine a better place to take a chick you are trying to bang, if you somehow fuck it up after a meal here you are hopeless.

Katsu is the best sushi I have had here. Quite expensive, however.

Mirai is very good, but upstairs is kind of oppressive. Also expensive.

I have liked Sai Cafe a lot, but last time I went I was disappointed. Maybe Katsu ruined it for me.

No Hana and Hama Matsu are good for inexpensive sushi. It's not like it's old fish or anything. Just not the top.

Bob San...Coast...must try.
