The Evens played Kalamazoo, MI on Wed. of this week.

They sounded/played/were great. It was a 'kid friendly' show, so many folks brought their little ones. My daughter (2 years old) jumped on stage and started dancing by the drummer--I was a little freaked out, until the drummer smiled at her.

It was a pretty special show, for a lot of reasons.

Thank you for helping me decide to bring my daughter tomorrow night.

Last night's show was pretty great...I liked the room and the sound was decent...lots of reverb and it worked really well with Amy's drums. That and an incredibly polite audience.

Bob's probably gonna put me at the door tonight, so I'll be directing reserved tickets through one door and general admission through the other...be sure to say Hi!

great show friday night. sound was almost perfect, especially considering there was no substantial PA. nice crowd, beautiful room.

yeah, weird to see watt, ian and corey all hanging out. made me feel like quite the nerdy young fanboy.

congrats to bob on a successful event.

This show was great. It was kind of odd (and very nice) to have a crowd be completely silent during the parts when the music was whisper-soft. Great atmosphere.

Jay Ryan, I stood right behind you! Well, just to side of right behind you as you are a bit taller than me. I was the dude that met you earlier in the day when I stopped by the Bird Machine studio to pick up the poster and book. I was going to say hi, but then I remembered that I bought that stuff as a birthday present for my girlfriend who was at the show with me, and I was afraid that might ruin the surprise. I was worried you might say "thanks for buying the poster and book!" or something.

So yeah, if you saw and recognized me and there was an awkward moment where you weren't sure if you should say hi to someone you just met and don't really know, my apologies! And thanks for creating and selling me the most excellent gifts for my girlfriend, I know she'll love them.
