i am the bass player/harmonium player/ drummer in N.C.s band and play (bass) through a Musicman HD130 into a dietz 1X15 cabinet. it sounds great. i play guitar in another band, using the same HD130 through nathan's MM 2X12 cabinet. I have had the amp for about 7 years and would always recommend them. So, almost all stringed instruments in my band are played through musicman amps and my only real question is, when talked about in plural, are they to be referred to as musicmen?

i took out the piece of shit dean markley speakers the previous owner had and put in celestion vintage 30s... i never thought it would make that much of a difference, but it's noticeably way better sounding. just better in every way, really. more bass, less irritating highs, clearer mids... the works. fuck you dean markley! i don't even buy your strings.

I just bought my first "real" amplifier: a Music Man 212/150. I am very excited by this purchase even though it's the most expensive thing I've bought in a long time, and I'm scared about the shipping.

This is a great amp. I've had mine for about 15 years and would also consider it to be my first "real" amplifier. If it's the price of shipping that you are scared of, I don't blame you. They are very heavy. But it's worth it.

Enjoy.

Well, yeah, 75 bucks to ship is a bitch, but mostly I'm just afraid that they'll hurt my baby.
