Ditto. The second season is so much better than the first it's almost like it's not the same show. Ok, mebbe not
that much better, but it's better.

one thing i don't like about dave chappelle is how absolutely dated some of his material is going to be in like 5 years. like the l'il john shit. who the fuck is going to know who l'il john is in 5 years? the black white supremasist however, fucking funny.

when i mentioned chappelle i meant his stand-up. the show has it's moments but he has been a great stand-up comedian for over ten years now.
i would also agree with pryor but i figured this poll meant living comedians who are still working which is why i went with carlin.

Two comedians who deserve mention.
Bill Cosby
Dane Cook
Two completely different styles but their standups make my cheeks hurt.

Has anyone else ever seen Eugene Mirman? I usually hate stand up, but I wanted to take this guy home to be my personal comic.

I vote for Dave Chappelle.
Why is this not yet a poll?

he did some of his stand up material on dr. katz once. it was pretty funny, but still, it didn't stand out all that much. i really liked that show for being a unique forum for comedians to do their bits, but i thought the story writting and dialog were always way funnier than the guests. so, i guess i would say that jonathan katz and tom snyder are some of my favorite comedians. i always thought jim gaffigan was funny on there too.

beat me to it, that guy's awesome. his jokes aren't really even THAT funny, but the delivery is amazingly over the top.
