well last time i tried to answer this one, the whole forum went all psycho. hopefully this time it'll make my computer start on fire so i can go home...

up until very recently:

3-string Ventura P-bass copy -> Digitech RP20 -> split into '65 twin reissue and Nemesis NC115P 200W 1x15 solid state combo

but now it's

3-string Ventura P-bass copy -> Z.Vex Super Duper -> Traynor YBA1A Bassmaster -> Kustom 2x12 with a couple speakers i don't remember exactly what i have in there right now, i think one is an original Jensen and the other is an old Traynor i got on ebay.

if i start playing bass full-time in a band, i may split it through a Morely ABY into the nemesis as well, but i haven't yet messed around with whether i'd wanna do that pre or post-Super Duper.

I have an SVT tube head and a cab with 4x10", 1x15" and a tweeter. But for recording I like to run my Jazz bass through my Fender Blackface Twin reverb. the tone is really really neutral for recording. Very Nice

Shit's changed a lot in the past year!

bass, no pick fingers only, then theres a cable. that goes to my ada mb1 preamp. wich in turn goes into a garnet BTO 400+ guitar head (randy bachman actually owned this one!) then into my ampeg 8x10. depending on the situation i may run my bass through as many as 4 different distrotions including the distortion channel on my amp. i sold my 8X10 yesterday and am probably going back to a more portable 4X10. i cant really justify hauling around that monolith anymore.

hellicopters! im still on the lado hunt for you, havnt been lucky lately nor have any traynors popped up in my hood. ill keep peeping though. dont worry about that bean for me either. i found a killer kramer that sounds awsome im picking up this week. shes a beaut! all i gotta do is wire in a in/out of phase switch and that thing will kick a lil ass.

I play a random samick bass through into a Sansamp Tri-ac which goes to either an old traynor power amp or my marshall Valvestate's power section. That goes into a Sunn 2X15. I use the Sansamp on the Fender setting. For distortion I like my Ds-1, although I mess with a bunch of my pedals.
