Aside from the fact that the Godfather is dead, the other shitty thing is that his music is going to get overplayed like crazy( much like when Johnny Cash died). And great hordes of folks will pretend to themselves and others that they're big J.B. fans(much like when Johnny Cash died). This could prove annoying.

I have not heard the song, but this textual rendition of it is hilarious.
James Brown, thank you for torturing your band members into making the most beautiful music on Earth.

eh... i dunno about that... like the music of Johnny Cash, in general, i think the music of James Brown is pretty hard to
not like. i see nothing wrong with his death spiking a resurgence in interest.
for once there's a reason to be thankful kenny g's not dead.

Indeed, the music of J.B. is tops, It's just that the whole Johnny Cash post-death -revival thing seemed a bit contrived/ forced. Personally, it made my skin crawl. P.S. nothing against J.Cash bro !!!

Personally, it makes my skin crawl when people use the phrase
"the whole ________ thing".
I'll take a pod of Johnny-come-lately Johnny Cash and James Brown listeners over anyone who uses this lame-o phrase.
Anyday.
