Yeah I know, that's why I didn't "kerble"... I just gave a link to some info you requested that shows up in that thread. About halfway through.

So many bikes! What do you guys do to protect your ears?

I've gone through a number of Vespas over the years. The current line-up consists of a 1964 Vespa GS and a 1965 Vespa 125.

I used to have a 1978 Moto Guzzi V50. It was a 500cc middleweight they built to compete with the flood of the Japanese bikes on the market at the time. It was a fun bike.

My friend knows a guy that was just in an accident about a month ago. He was riding, a car pulled out in front of him, now he's paralyzed from the neck down.

I don't think I'd ever wanna ride a motorcycle in the city.

I got a little twisted: badly broken collar bone.
My buddy got really twisted: very badly broken leg, serious brain injuries, coma.

He is 'fine' now... this happened 5 yrs ago. I have some great pics of my bike mangled. I tried to give it to Twisted Spoke, but they were flakey and a friend and I (said friend is motorcycle mechanic) took it totally apart and threw it in the dumpster at his shop. It was a sad day, but kinda fun.

I will buy another one when I get out of this terrible sandwich shop, i mean city. It will probably be another enduro and eventually a Ducati Monster.
my mustache will be named 'Rick'.

well, ya see, there are these things called helmets.....

i usually wear earplugs too. my bike is not too loud, still has the stock exhaust, but it makes noise, and with the wind noise, etc., i find earplugs really reduce the noise that much more, so it is easier to concentrate.
And I am not so fatigued after a long ride.
