I am no big fan of black metal, but I try to give everything a chance.

Weakling's only album is a study in sheer ferocity and athleticism in music. The first time I heard it, I fell off a chair laffing. Then, I promptly ordered the CD. The guy who runs the tumult label is one of the nicest guys I have ever come across in the music biz.

Every other black metal album I've heard pales in comparison to Weakling. If you are interested, check out some of the other stuff in the tumult catalog.

The Last Sondre Lerche album is damn great. probably doesnt have the "EA seal of approval" but i really really like it.

I'm rather partial to Nina Nastasia at the moment.

I wouldn't say it's an obsession, but I'm most frequently playing 2 albums every day, 1. Seam "Are you driving me crazy?" 2. The queers "Don't back down".
