I recall reading/hearing that Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett originally wanted Gorillaz to be called 'Robert Palmer'. Is this true or have I imagined it?

It's a band most people outside Atlanta (or inside, for that matter) don't know, but Dairy Queen Empire became DQE. We had another band here called "Charlie Parker" for years but they never caught any flack from anyone.

Didn't the Melvins change one of their album titles from Lysol to Not Lysol temporarily as a result of legal threats before changing it altogether?

BTW, please nobody steal any of my stage names that I'm considering, such as Otis Mayfield, or Curtis Redding or stuff like that.
