my brother and i had a dog that would hang out at my brother's coffee shop basement all day with other co-worker's dogs.

they kept these treats there that all the dogs were nuts for, but my brother was trying to train our dog and wouldn't give her a treat until she finished the food in her bowl. she hated this and would always leave food there and beg for treats, but my brother would just point her back to her bowl and make it clear that she has to eat her food first.

SO...
while she thought no one was watching, even though everyone was, she goes to her bowl, picks it up in her mouth, empties the food into a corner, goes over to a cloth rag on the floor, picks it up, and places it carefully over the food, trying to hide it.

she got a treat.

My dog Piper will sit on your foot/feet. I think it makes her feel like she owns you. Another thing that she does that is really annoying is when she is taken for a walk, she'll sort of stand around and sniff in the field where we take her to go to the bathroom. She just won't go! Then, when I'm walking her back to the house, she'll take a huge dump on the sidewalk, right in front of a neighbor's house.

I used to live with a terrier who had one of these 'eppys' pretty much every night. It is an extremely amusing phenomenon to witness.

Manfred stomps her front feet when she wants attention or something to eat while sort of growling, or she lays on the floor on her back pawing her front legs in the air rhythmically.

She tries to "talk" sometimes. She frequently sleeps next to the bed, in "her corner" where she likes to lie on her back legs all up in the air.

Being an Alaskan Husky/ Great Pyrenees mix, she's well insulated and likes to curl up in the snow to sleep.

my dog sleeps on her back with all her paws up in the air. she also gets really happy when she hears her name mentioned in conversation.

the cat is just goofy and clumsy. he sleeps on our heads, its like wearing a hat. i hate it. but the most interesting thing about him is that he's got all these little 'games' he plays when he's alone.

i think its because he was super super sick as a kitten and spent a good chunk of time in an ICU unit oxygen tank with tons of tubes running into him, and he wasn't allowed any contact with the outside world. thousands and thousands of dollars later we have a cat who, when bored, will do little somersaults for 15 minutes straight. he does them by lying on his back, grabbing one of his back legs with his front paws, and then doing this little kick-move that makes him flip over until he's on his back again.

the cat also likes to perch on high objects (like the fridge) and smack anyone walking by in the back of the head.

when the dog and the cat 'fight' they have all sorts of moves, including this one where the dog basically collapses on the front half of the cat, and then the cat, with his ass/back legs sticking out, is suddenly pacified by the 45 pounds of black fur on his head and begins to knead the dog's chest.

after they fight, the cat jumps up on the couch and grabs the dog by the head with both paws, balancing on his back legs, and administers a bath.

and one from them fighting in the bean bag chair. this is one of the cat's favorite places to fight because the beanbag sucks itself around his body and offers more protection.

Onto my cat.

_Dragon has many odd traits.
Fist off, dude is a kleptomaniac.
At night, he comes into my room and steals things like socks and underwear.
I know I've mentioned his poop dance on here before.
Basically, all I have to do is say poop and he does a combination of tap dance and ballet leaps.
When it snows, he uses his mouth like a plow so he can eat snow and walk at the same time.
Sneezing, coughing, laughter and yawning now mean "come here" to him.
I have no idea how this happened.
He seems to believe I am not allowed to leave the house now.
He will bark like crazy if I even unlock the door.
Lastly, he is a rapper.
Sometimes out of boredom, I will attempt to beat box.
He'll get up on his hind legs, put a bone between his two front paws like a mic and start freestyling:

My name is _Dragon and I'm to say
Woof Woof Woof Woof

As you can see, he gets distracted easily.
I'm currently trying to teach him to hold the bone with one paw.
It's kinda hard since he doesn't have thumbs.
I tried taping part of a chew toy to his paw to act as a thumb, but he wanted nothing to do with it.
Whatever.
I have a rapping dog.
Who cares if he looks lame?
